Be unique to avoid duplicate content

Web site owners might be amazed to learn that one of the biggest sources for duplicate content isn't externally, but rather internally.

Certainly, popular sites and blogs that syndicate a lot of content have to deal with external duplication, but as I already touched on external duplicate content, we know that there are steps to minimize those challenges and to establish your site as the canonical source.

Internal, or on-site, content duplication tends to come in a few key ways, the first of which is within the key page elements. The second is from the content itself; similar to e-commerce sites using stock product copy, you may be using your own copy over and over again on your site. Third, it simply may come from too little differentiated copy.

Overstock sues New York over Net sales tax law

Overstock.com has filed a lawsuit challenging a New York law that expands the state's requirements for online retailers to collect sales taxes.

This extraordinary collection of renowned classical Indian and American  jazz musicians reinterprets the iconic musician’s best known material fusing sitar, tablas, ghatam, khanjira, mridangam and Carnatic violin with muted trumpet and saxophnes, screaming electric guitar, grooving electric bass lines, piano, upright bass and drums.  This labor of love was brought to fruition through the efforts of Time Square Records head Yusuf Gandhi and renowned producer Bob Belden.  East- meets-West in this warm and welcoming cross cultural celebration of music from one of the world’s most innovative musicians.
